happily ever after

when i was little, i didn't want to leave home...EVER. i would get teased endlessly about it and i would cry and cry at the thought of leaving. i didn't think anything was better than being at home with mom and dad. ironically,at 26, my wish has come true.

tuck and grace think differently

tonight at dinner, tuck was talking about how he was going to live in his own house someday. i asked him who was going to live with me? he decided that grace would. then grace realized she was older so she would leave first, then tucker. i again asked, who was going to live with mom?? i gave them the suggestion that i would just live with my dog, so as not to make them feel bad. tuck suggested that i just get married and live with my new husband. genius. i said maybe. so along with my dad, the kids were brainstorming who i could marry. here are the suggestions:

superman

bakugan-grace ruled that too dangerous

speed racer-tuck decided he would never be home since he has lots of races to go to

prince charming

grace decided we both could marry prince charming so i guess that's my answer. i can't handle the whole double life thing with superman anyway. such a simple answer. why haven't i thought of this before. just glad to know my kids are looking out for me.

My Porter is a home body- he does not want to go on a mission because he doesn't want to be away from me & Laun. I try & tell him he won't feel like this forever. I love the cute things kids say. Let me know when you find the right guy because you deserve it. Spiderman would be cool- just my opinion though:)

We're on the lookout for you too, Bon. But your kids might be the ones who actually find him. Good to know they've got your back!

It may turn out to be a situation like Laird Hamilton's, (the big wave surfer.) He tells the childhood story of meeting surfer John Hamilton on the beach. "After bodysurfing with his new acquaintance, the young Laird "coerced" Bill Hamilton to follow him home to "meet [his] mom." As Laird recounted of his match-making efforts, Bill Hamilton was smitten by the beauty of Laird's then single mother and married her, becoming Laird's adoptive father" So be sure to listen to the suggestions of Grace and Tucker!

Mario said marry Batman because he is wealthy. He doubted Spiderman's ability to support a family on a photographers salary. ;-)

I kinda like the idea of the race car driver. You can never get bored if you live life in the fast lane. I don't know who he is, but he will be amazing!
