i remember now why i stopped going to walmart. because i could spend hours and hundreds of dollars that i don't have in there. i went tonight for the first time in a long time to get a cheap baby monitor. an hour and a half later, i come out with $50.00 worth of stuff! and that's after i put some stuff back. plus, the novelty of going late at night has worn off, i am too tired to deal with those kind of people and huge inventory boxes in the aisles at that time. target is definently the new walmart. moving on, jaiden had her birthday party today, here are some highlights to share...
-when we arrived and opened the door, tucker promptly yelled "bayoon!" (balloon), pushed me to let him down and proceeded to start whining for a balloon. i knew i was in for a long afternoon.
-the party was outside in the afternoon sun. picture me, struggling to balance my food, keep grace from spilling water in a huge cup and tucker not grabbing everything off my plate and throwing any beverage on the ground while trying to be pleasant and not sweating (or swearing).
-refer to above, that was tucker the whole afternoon. climbing on everything he wasn't supposed to, eating other kids food, and putting himself in the most dangerous positions
-we had a small bouncer there for the younger kids to play in. my dad was teasing grace and climbed halfway in the door of it, on his stomach. a young girl screams at the sight "NO, NO, NO, NO, NO!! YOU'RE TOO BIG!" thankfully i wasn't the one inside, i might have had hurt feelings.
-i decided it would be fun for tucker to play in the bouncer. i put him in and shut the little see through velcro door. he proceeded to cry.
-pinata time. kids swinging with a broom. grace oblivious, inching closer and closer to the pinata, and closer and closer to a concussion.
-ava is apparently a candy/chocolate freak. she is walking around with a cup of 5 lollipops. she took all the wrappers off, and it testing each one. she walks in the kitchen, slips and falls, then cries. she is not crying because she is hurt, only because her suckers fell out of the ground.
-ava has an outdoor little tikes car that you can push around. it has a type of "trunk" i guess you call it, in the front you can put things in. apparently she put in apple jacks and dead leaves awhile ago. tucker discovered those and kept himself busy by eating all of them for about 30 minutes. i'm sure he got a few crunchy leaves as well. i'm not sure how old those apple jacks were, but he was quiet.

Sounds like you had quite the afternoon! I TOTALLY agree with you on the Wal-mart/Target thing. I don't think it's worth it to go there even with the money you save. We had to run there late last night for the pre-Sunday pick up and we were there for like thirty minutes. Plus all of the people stocking shelves looked like they came from prison.
James and I decided to stop going to Walmart because every time we came out of the place we were 1. seriously annoyed by the other shoppers 2. stressed out by the whole experience of shopping there. I'm all about Target. Much more exciting and relaxing. (I know, that doesn't make sense.)
