All Hallows Eve

Tucker has been stressed that our house was not decorated for Halloween. We carved mini pumpkins last week, which of course lasted 3 days...or 1 hour if you count how long they lasted until the ants go to them. In case I haven't mentioned, we have an ant problem over here. The ants made the pumpkins their home, which I'm sure contributed to the quick rotting and molding that occured. By the time Halloween rolled around, the pumpkins were in the trash can. I meant to carve another one for the occasion, but ya know, that just didn't happen. I managed to put up a few unfinished projects in the house to pass as a decoration. I digress..the kids had a lovely Halloween. Grace was a "dazzling" devil. It seemed fitting. And Kmart marketed it as "dazzling", not Grace. Next year she wants to be a "dazzling" witch, which is essentially the exact same costume but a different color. Oh, what a clever marketing scheme. Tucker was General Grievous from Star Wars. I know, I don't know who that is either. And by the time Halloween came, we had lost the mask so really he just wore a jumpsuit sans mask and I'm sure no one knew who he was. I've determined Kmart is the place to go for Halloween costumes. I've learned if you go the week of Halloween, everything is %50 off which makes for cheap costumes. A deal for something they'll wear a few hours. I've never been the kind to make my children's costume. Just don't have the time, desire or talent to do so. And I don't see how people get their children to do theme costumes past the age of maybe 2 so I let the kids pick whatever they want. This results in Tucker either being a Transformer or Star Wars character for the majority of his trick or treat career. We've all learned if Tucker's happy, we're all happy. But lets go onto it...a few pictures.
