this happened about a month ago, but i don't want to forget it.
tucker: mom, when are you..(pause) and a boy going to have a baby?
me: well..i have to get married first to have a baby
tucker: (annoyed) that's taking too long!
me: i know bud
tucker: you just need to go to a ball
me: i need to go to a ball and then i can get married? or then i can have a baby?
tucker: getting married takes too long. you just need to get a dress and go to a ball.

Isn't it funny how life never turns out how you imagine it will-whether good or bad. Maybe "funny" isn't the right word, but I have found the attitude you have toward what you are dealt makes all the difference and you seem to have a good outlook on life right now. I agree with the New Years-thinking of a whole year?! Crazy, how about week by week, or even day by day.
