It's a bird, it's a plane

tucker-superman grace-supergirl me-wonder woman (sorry, no family picture)

halloween highlights:
tucker's class went to the pumpkin patch. he got to pick vegetables, ride on a "train," pick a pumpkin, play in a dry corn pit and suffer an allergy attack. yeah!----------------------------------------
grace had a "fall festival" at school where she got to dress up as her favorite "book character." (supergirl counts, she was in comic books right?) an hour before, she became a landing mat for a kid on the playground, face planted in the sand and was kicked in the head. my cute supergirl turned into supergirl with a mustache similar to hitler's and a huge bump on the noggin. not to mention probably suffering a concussion. (i didn't take her to the dr. i'm a bad mom)--------------------
we carved pumpkins and the kids actually helped this year. mostly. they lasted almost 4 days this time. next year, we're shooting for them to not look wilted and moldy by the time halloween comes.-----------------------------
our ward had a trunk or treat activity 2 days before halloween where they got to play games, get candy and tucker even got to lose part of his costume (even before actual halloween i might add). this lead me to search the church parking lot at 10 at night, then make a trip to walmart to buy red and yellow duct tape to recreate a belt. ------------------------------
we made a good round trick or treating. some memorable moments include tucker asking EVERY person at their door if their candy contained peanuts because he was allergic. (he's 3). and my personal favorite moment, when tucker LOUDLY told a smaller asian man (who spoke little english) that he looked like a girl when he opened the door. thankfully ( or at least i hope) he didn't understand or didn't hear. one of the two. --------------------------------
so now that i've eaten the majority of my kids chocolate, i've thrown the rest of their candy away and saved a few skittles and smarties to bribe them with at my own convenience. ------------------------------
hope you had a fun halloween!

I hear you were pretty foxy as Wonder Woman. I want to see pictures of that! The kids are cute and hilarious as usual. I miss them more and more all the time.

I am still laughing at Tucker's face. So cute. I always thought you were a "Super Hero". Hey, next time you chicks go to NYC, give me a call. Great pictures and good times i am sure.

Hey Bonnie-
Where's your pic? You made a great family of Super Hero's at the ward party. Congrats again on the new additions to the family.

We're getting family pictures done next week and I think we're going to get a few in our costumes too so they're coming! I can't believe I didn't get any family ones on Halloween! Oh well. Tami-can u invite me to your blog? When did you go private?
