Dancin' Machine

End of June was the big day for Grace-her very first dance recital. She had been in dance for a couple years, but never performed before (unless you count the hundreds of times at our house on a daily basis). She was super excited and danced to "Zippity Doo Da." I wish I could post the video, cause it's pretty comical. She was on beat the entire time, knew every step and even helped a few of her fellow dancers out by putting them in their place. I know I'm her mom, but she honestly was the best one out there. I was a little surprised at how good she was (but not THAT surprised). She had such a great time and I may or may not have gotten a little teary watching her. Please don't look closely at her makeup-how the heck am I supposed to put makeup on a wiggly 4 year old, let alone a VERY fair 4 year old where everything looks like too much (yes, she's more pale than I am.) On top of that, I'm no makeup expert, so the end result was a little hooker-ish
