Brutal honesty

Grace and Tuck just returned from a trip to Tucson this weekend to visit their dad and grandparents-this was my conversation with Tucker yesterday.

Tucker- "Mom, did you miss me while I was in Tucson?"

Me-"What do you think?"

Tucker-"Yes"

Me- "I missed you THIS much!" see below

Me-"Did you miss me?"

Tucker-"Yes"

Me-"How much?"

Tucker-"This much" see below

Wow--harsh Tuck, harsh. All my hard work as a mom is totally validated (sense heavy sarcasm)

****please don't judge me by my nasty picture

that is hilarious! I actually go through the same thing with my girls. They either never want to leave and go to their dads house or else they get mad at me for something and then call out for him that they want to go to his house. it can go either way. At least as mothers we know that they really do miss us.....right?

That is just hilarious!! I can totally see Tucker doing that too. So cute!!! Hey the offer is still there if you want to bring your kiddos down for your birthday :) Call me sometime!! By the way, your picture isn't bad at all.

Oh, the brutal honesty of children. But you know he isn't being honest in this photo. He adores you. Believe me, I know. (as in, "My mommy will do it for me. I want mommy!")

Oh man. Too funny. Such a cute conversation to document. This little man is growing up so fast. What a cute boy he is.

That's hysterical! I'm glad to know that I'm not the only mom who feels a little unappreciated at times even if our kids really dont' mean it.
