ready for summer

Tucker-July 06' (isn't he so cute??)

I don't think I could love this picture of Grace anymore. I LOVE her chubbiness

I think we might be ready to party...I'm finally done with my first semester (insert loud woohoo here)!!! Gracie gets done with school next week and I think I might have a few weeks off before I go back to work. ("think" because I'm covering maternity leave and due dates are highly overrated in a baby's world) Mother's Day went well. The kids intended to bring me cereal in bed, but blamed the failed attempt to my dad who didn't wake up in time. I assured them I was fine to eat cereal at the table so I wouldn't spill anyway. Grace made me a beautiful portrait of myself, complete with the classic "info about mom" sheet. The highlight--she says I weigh 25 lbs. (I think she's my favorite child right now...jk) My dad spoke in sacrament mtg. and did a wonderful job and they asked me to sing in RS and that went pretty well. My voice didn't crack and I didn't cry, so that's really the worst two things that could happen. So, now that I'm at a loss of what to do with my time, here are my summertime plans.....(some which may or may not happen)

-get a new car (p.s. my car was t-boned in a parking lot and totaled last week)

-go to the new waterpark A LOT

-sign the kids up for swim lessons

-sign the kids up for gymnastics

-cheer Grace on at her dance recital

-work (blah)

-take a sewing class

-work on my tan (just kidding)

-and to have fun and be with my kids (the best of all!)

I bet you're so glad to be done with school!! Congrats. Now go and enjoy that to do list. Looks like some pretty fun things on that list. Hopefully I'll get some time to come down before I go into labor myself. We'll see.

Wahoo is right! I'm so proud of you for surviving that first semester. Pretty soon this will all be a dim memory like school was for me. I'm sorry to hear about your car. Glad to hear you're safe though! Maybe it will turn out to be a blessing in disguise? When I got hit in my dear Honda, I got to upgrade to a newer car. :)

Best of luck on that tan. Might I suggest an additional item for your list of summertime plans... "Invest in a knee brace for future trips to the driving range"

Looks like a great summer to do list to me. Do you take your kids to the library often? My kids love to go and most libraries have a summer reading program. Gracie is probably old enough for that. I love discovering new books for the kids, and myself :-)Have a fun summer enjoying the kids!
