For Gracie's 4th birthday, I threw togethe a luau for she and her preschool friends. We had a great time and I made a vow never to have a party for my kids again. (jk) We played water games, decorated sand buckets, and dressed up in head to toe hula gear. I think the kids really enjoyed it!! My pride of the day was my beach decorated cupcakes complete with "sand" (graham cracker), a life preserver (lifesaver) and umbrella! That's the most work I've ever spent on any sort of dessert decorating. I'm more a sprinkles kind of gal myself.

I was so impressed with all of your efforts. The party was SO cute and the kids had such a great time. I think you should be our designated family party planner.
Looks like it was a great party! We miss you guys!
Courtney, we missed your girls at the party. Gracie asked about the "trip-a-lets" last week and informed me that they moved away. Hope everything is going alright in Jersey!
I love the great idea! Grace looks so pretty. She is so cute. It looks like she had lots of fun! What a great mom you are!
such a cute idea! Gracie is so cute.
I love those grass skirts. How fun!
NJ is good but I'm pretty sure we won't be able to swing a luau for the girls' b-day in February.
Grace is 4 I cannot believe it. I swear it was just yesterday when you had her. Time is truly flying by. Your party planning ideas will come in handy when we open our own business later on :)
I'm impressed with the cupcakes, I must say.
I really love the pic of Grace with the flower in her hair-- so cute!
Wow, It has been so long. I'm so glad you found my blog. Gracie is 4?!?!? Where did all the time go? Little Simon is 2 and our next little boy is due on Sept 15th. Can't wait! What are you up to these days?
Hey Bon bon.. you have such an adorable family! I think Grace resembles your sweet mom. Shes so cute.
What cute ideas! Grace is lucky to have a mom as creative as you. I suck at stuff like that.
