So I haven't mentioned much about what's been going on behind the scenes, here's an update:
School...
Last week, I had an interview with the Banner Fellows Program for nursing school. I had applied twice to this program and didn't expect anything (stiff competition). I interviewed in front of a panel of four (yikes) and will know in about a month. I didn't feel I did too hot, thought I don't think I did awful either. I guess we'll see! If I get accepted, that means I would start school in July, go straight through for 16 months, have EVERYTHING paid for, and be contracted to work full time for them for 3 years afterwards. Whew, sounds good right? I'm hoping it works out but if not, I guess it's not meant to be. Then, I'll probably start in Jan. with the traditional program for 2 years.
My job...
Is a job. It's good experience, but I've already grown weary of it. I think the idea of working actually just make me grow weary. Some of the patients are already driving me nuts cause so many of them are lying for meds, etc. I definently DO NOT want to be in the pain management area again.
Dating scene...
nothing to update. My method of relying on set ups is not working for me. (You mean I actually have to work at this? Come on, people!)
Kiddies...
I heart Tucker. His language is exploding and he's so cute when using it. His obsession with Thomas the Train is exploding as well. A sentence he put together this week after my mom bought him a "Gordon" train...
"Thank you Lala's (my mom) for spedding muddies for Gordon for me"
spedding muddies = spending money
Gracie is learning what words she can say, and what words she can't. Now that she's around her peers a lot, she picks up a lot of phrases she thinks are funny, although they're slightly just annoying to me. Nothing awful, but lots of noises, potty humor, basically pick a word and put it in front of "head." (ex. coocoo head) I am trying to keep things in check and for the most part she understands me when I say it's a naughty word or something not nice.
The kids started soccer class last week. Since they are only 2 and 3, it's just a little "class," no games or anything. Pretty low key as well. Tucker mostly runs off by himself and kicks the ball and Grace does pretty well listening to the instructor. I'll try and post pics when I get some. I have to participate as well and keep my kids rounded up, so it's tough trying to grab some pictures.
Entertainment...
The Office is back on. All is right with the world

i will be crossing my fingers for the fellows program!
I hope things work out with the nursing program! Keep us posted.
I hate the potty mouth stage. And, from what I can tell it doesn't end any time soon.
School...Good luck! Sounds like a great program!
Job...Sounds like not so much fun.
Dating...I keep trying, but my BIL lives in Utah and even though he went to Arizona and you came here, somehow I didn't get that figured out.
Kiddies...I can't wait to see them next week! Goose would love to play trains with Tucker.
Potty Mouth...One thing we have learned with Goose is to say, "I think you meant to say 'That stinks' or something nicer." It seems to turn him around in that department. :)
oh i hope you get in! you are a busy women!!
I hope everything goes well with the nursing program that would be great!
I totally agree with you on 'The Office'. The world is right again AMEN!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE watching little kids play soccer! If they ever have a little game or anything let me know!
Good luck with your nursing program! Linds just got accepted to her nursing program. I think she starts in August. It stinks that you guys have to wait so long!
