legoland

So I decided to split up my posts a little bit so you're not so bombarded with pictures. We went to California last week with the kids and my parents. We had a great time and went to Legoland, the beach (of course) and the Wild Animal Park....oh, and the ER. We arrived there early Monday morning about 1:00 am. All of Monday Tucker was coughing pretty bad and his breathing became pretty shallow and soon, his chest was contracting. After calling my doctor in Phx, as well as my insurance company (because of course, I forgot his insurance card), my dad and I took him to the Er about 8:30 that night. They got us back pretty fast, which was good, but almost made me a little nervous as well because they were paying so much attention to him and his breathing. Once we got back, we of course, had a bed in the hall, so we just hung for awhile waiting for this and that. He got a chest x-ray, which they asked my dad to accompany him instead of myself because at that very moment, I had a small emotional upset. I don't blame them. After that, they gave him a breathing treatment and gave me an inhaler to take home. Tucker couldn't have been any better and he was fairly chipper most of the time. The grand finale was when he threw up on the hospital bed after he had the breathing treatment. He just wanted to leave his mark, literally. So we didn't get home until about 11:45 that night and poor Tucker was exhausted at this point. We decided to go ahead and go to Legoland the next day cause he was doing better and there was really no point in us hanging around at the hotel. But, as you can imagine, he was exhausted the whole day. But, he was also so good and sweet, just mostly sucked his thumb the whole day. The only time he smiled was on an airplane ride that he loved, but as for everything else, it only amused him slightly. Grace had a great time and all in all, it was a successful outing. Here's some pics...

TUCKER'S HEAVEN-A GIANT LEGO THOMAS THE TRAIN
THIS WAS ABOUT THE ONLY TIME THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE DAY THAT TUCKER SMILED WAS ON THIS AIRPLANE RIDE. HE KEPT LAUGHING AND SAYING "FASTER!"

GRACIE GOT TO GET HER "DRIVER'S LICENSE" ON THIS "RIDE." IMAGINE HOW WELL A 3 YEAR OLD LITTLE GIRL WAS DRIVING.

TUCKER COULD HAVE DONE THIS RIDE THE WHOLE DAY IF WE LET HIM. IT WAS A LITTLE TRAIN HE COULD RIDE HIMSELF

GRACIE ROCKIN OUT TO THE LEGO INSTRUMENTS

THIS PICTURE WAS ACTUALLY PRE-LEGOLAND, BUT YOU COULD SEE HOW TUCKER WAS MOST OF THE DAY. HE WAS SUCH A TROOPER

Awww, poor baby! Did you figure out what it was? That happened to Josh once when he had croup. Looks like the rest of it was fun!

yeah, he has seasonal allergies which make him cough. they think it was either a cold on top of his allergies, or my pediatrician said today it was asthma related. some kind of asthma attack i'm guessing.
