az is too a great place to live....right?

so i just got back from utah yesterday visiting my best friend rachel. i had a ton of fun just hanging out and going to lagoon. it took me 2 dramamene to make it through the rides, but alas, i rode them all (the ones we wanted too) and didn't chicken out once. the new ride GRAVITY is so fun too! i highly recomment it. this coming from a girl who in high school went to six flags and rode 2 rides the entire time due to a)being too scared for my life and b) weak stomach/fear of puking. so i feel very accomplished now, though that whole day i was so drugged and tired, but oh well! utah is so pretty, i wonder what brought my entire family here. cause seriously, that's why we all live here! it's not cause it's pretty that's for sure. haha. but the daylight savings really annoyed me the whole time. it wouldn't get dark till 9:30 every night. I hated it. but, i had a nice break and was excited to see my kiddies on saturday. tucker is making the transition into nursery now so i've been in nursery all this month with him. i usually try and sneak out once snack time hits, but i keep getting asked to sub in there, so that prevents me from leaving and for tucker to learn how to be there on his own. kinda frustrating. but he's doing better i think. i can't believe grace will be 3 in august. i'm pretty much freaking out. some of the sentences she comes up with are hilarious. she always uses the word "how" in place of "why," so that makes it even better. on the way to the airport on wednesday she asked if the plane in the sky was my plane and i said, no not that one. she asked "how is it that they won't let you on the helicopter?" i told her it was because they mistook me for a terrorist...actually not really, but it's funny the things she thinks of. she took a bite of brocolii tonight at dinner, chewed it for a minute and says..."interesting." (i think that too) and tucker is now repeating everything anyone says, so his language is exploding. he can say short sentences and even puts on many magic shows thanks to the teachings of my dad. he throws anything and everything up in the air and says "where did it go?" "in your ear?" it's very entertaining. he's obsessed with barney as well so i only watch that 3 times a day or so while i gain some sanity back. and now, i leave you with a picture of gracie from her 2nd birthday (sniff). my kids are getting too old, i'm hoping that they won't put me in a retirement home soon....
