update

the past few weeks:

i finished my microbiology and anatomy classes, both with b's. i am happy with my grades considering i was indefinently lazy after the first 2 weeks of the semester and hardly studied.

i signed grace up both for a tumbling class and the harkins summer movie passes. she is also going to play at the splashpark once a week. hopefully it will be a fun filled summer

i have continued "hanging out/seeing" a guy from mesa i met through a girl in my ward. we've had a lot of fun, although it's hard to see each other considering we lived an hour away from each other and either he's gone during weekends or i can't find a babysitter. he's 24, and never been married, so it's interesting cause our lives our very different. we'll see what happens...

i've been to chucky cheese twice in the past week and a half. the first time was a novelty to me, bringing back fun memories as a kid. the second time, the novelty wore off and the smell of crappy pizza burned my nose hairs.

my cousin tatum and i have enjoyed planning a bridal shower, and even overwhelming ourselves with the daunting task of making invitations. somehow our simple idea, turned into such a huge time consuming project. it was fun hanging out though.

and last, but not least, tucker was initiated into the boys scar club as he had his first stitches. we were at my aunt and uncles house and i was watching the kids play out back. they have a hanging punching bag right next to a picnic table and the little girls were pushing the bag around so of course tucker walked behind it and was pummeled right into the bench. all before my eyes...i felt like mom of the year. thankfully my bro in law rick was able to stitch him up and save me a trip to the hospital. he had 4 stitches and handle them like a trooper. and so did i considering, i had to hold him still while he was screaming bloody murder for 10 minutes. the stitches are out now and i think the scar is healing nicely.
